See your favorite childhood past time in real life!

The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park

Get your Holiday shopping on at the Holiday shops that surround the ice skating rink. They appear every year on October 26th until January 6th.
The shops sell a variety of different products: Creaps, jewelry, iPhone accessories, candy, caramel apples and more. The prices are affordable as well.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Bring in the full New York experience and go see the Rockettes.
Celebrating 85 years, this years performances include classic scenes such as “Parade of the wooden Soldiers” and ”New York at Christmas”.
The show is running until Dec. 30th

Grand Central Holiday Fair

This is very similar to the shops at Bryant Park. Grand Central normally has more foot traffic from tourist so the prices might be a bit higher.
The upside is selection of shops are better. Grand Central is more spacious allowing more shops to fill the area.
Plus it’s inside, so you’ll be warm. There are also tons of other stores surrounding the fair you can visit.

The Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center
Even though the tree lighting was on November 28th that doesn’t mean you can’t go visit the world famous tree!
People come from all over the world to see it lit. It remains in Rockefeller Center until January 7th, 2013.

George Balanchine’s the Nutcracker

No Holiday season is complete without seeing the Nutcracker.
Performed annually by the New York ballet since 1954, it has become a New York Tradition. The show is running until December 30th.

Times Square Ball Drop

New York is famous for this event! Every year thousands of people gather around Times Square to witness the ball drop for New Years.
People get there days in advance just to have the best spot!
All the major news networks are stationed around Times Square for New Year celebrations offering the people concerts
from their favorite performers and a night filled with surprises!
Dick Clark’s rockin’ New Years eve is a national favorite. Now hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
