Our latest collaboration with Joy Bryant has just arrived at Shopbop. The bohemian-chic satchel has an added reward: 50% of the proceeds go to one of our favorite charities, the Oxfam International foundation. Since we’re both passionate about Oxfam, working with Joy was a truly gratifying experience. Right now, I’m really into mixed metal. I’ve always been inspired by jewelry and it’s a huge influence on my design of bag hardware. Whether it’s a vintage score or investment piece, I love to make a statement. Black gold and pink gold are particularly unique and work well with both silver and gold tones. Perfect with an understated outfit, like a worn-in tee and a pair of boyfriend jeans. You don’t have to choose between silver and gold. Be a bit of a rebel and wear them together…

One of my favorite projects this year has been teaming up with the super stylish accessory lover and good friend Michelle Trachtenberg to design the Michelle Satchel, benefitting the Oxfam charity. An organization close to our hearts, Oxfam works to fight poverty and injustice around the world. Collaborating with Michelle on the design process was such a treat. The true highlight of the collaboration is giving back to a charity we both feel passionate about. The bag is available exclusively via Shopbop and fifty percent of proceeds go directly to Oxfam. We recently celebrated the design project with an intimate dinner at Stanton Social with Shopbop, Oxfam, and close friends-here are a couple photos from the memorable evening.
